We have made some changes to this website to help you on your pensions journey and make it easier than ever for you to find, and understand, the information you need.

Navigating the new layout

There are now separate areas on the site for each of our main categories:

• ESPS Final Salary - for members in the Final Salary categories of the Uniper Group of the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme (ESPS), including Eastern, EGPS, EME, EMEPP, MEPS, Midlands and Powergen

• Retirement Balance Plan - for members in the Retirement Balance Plan (RBP) category of the Uniper Group of the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme (ESPS)

• Uniper Pension Plan (UPP) - for members in the Uniper Pension Plan (UPP)

If you are not sure which category you are in, you can find it written on your latest benefit statement or other pension paperwork.

Each of these areas are broken down into further sub-sections, specially designed for active, deferred and pensioner members, making it even easier for you to find the information that is most relevant for your stage of the pensions journey.

They also have a dedicated information and library section, where you can find things like member forms, guides and the latest scheme documents.

If you are looking for more general information about your scheme and insights into broader pension-related topics, such as tax allowances and scams, you can now find this in the new Knowledge Hub area of the website.

This also includes:

• the latest news and updates
• details of where to go for further information and advice
• a breakdown of pension jargon
• frequently asked questions
• our popular Lifestyle Calculator, which will help you see how much income you might need in retirement.
  

All of this can be accessed via the new menu at the top of the site, which shows you immediately what is available and lets you go to almost any page on the site in one, simple click.  To use it, simply select the category you want, e.g. ESPS Final Salary, and a full list of pages in that section will appear underneath.

You can also move around the site using the Schemes and Categories buttons on the homepage if you prefer.

Please keep in mind that because of these changes to the layout, some information may have moved from where it was previously on the site, so you may want to re-bookmark any pages you had saved.

Understanding the new content

As part of the redevelopment, the content on the site has been reviewed and re-written in places, to ensure the information provided is clear.

This includes new pages explaining the process around taking your benefits and what to do if your circumstances change.

It also includes more links and highlighted boxes throughout, making it clearer where you may need to take further action, or where further information could be available.

Using your online account

There are no changes to your online account as a result of the changes to this site.  

You can still log in as normal via the log in buttons on the homepage.
